BRICS Online Anti-Corruption Workshop

On 26 May, the Chinese BRICS Chairmanship organised a virtual workshop on  Anti-Corruption and Economic Development . Experts from the five countries, UNODC and the International Anti-Corruption Academy discussed a wide range of issues, from approaches to corporate liability for corruption and the use of pre-trial resolutions in international anti-corruption investigations to the regulation of activities of professional enablers and development of ethical awareness-raising programmes for children. Alexey Konov, Director of the Anti-Corruption Centre, moderated the second session centered on integrity in the private sector and made a report in the third session on anti-corruption education.
